OUR CORE VALUES

The vision of Possibilities Africa is to see communities transformed by Christian values. Many communities and nations have been transformed by timeless Judeo Christian principles that have positively influenced leadership, believes, practices and national policies.

We believe that African communities need to root themselves in these values for true and meaningful transformation. These values drawn from biblical truths include:

  1. Dignity of all mankind. Though we are different, yet all of us were created to live dignified life. We celebrate the unity and diversity of mankind rather than discriminate on the basis of color, race, tribe or social standing.
  2. Integrity of Character. Man was created to live an honorable life before God and fellow man. Integrity of character is the essence for harmonious co-existence of any community.
  3. Importance of faith. We value understand the importance of the Christian faith that has transformed societies over the centuries as a necessary change agent for individuals and communities in Africa.
  4. Pursuit of a Vision. A people without a vision perish. A clear vision gives purpose to all that man does and pursues.
  5. Servant Leadership. A leadership that seeks for the well being of the people led rather than being self-centered. The privilege of using our talents and treasure to minister to fellow mankind.
  6. Justice, Fairness and Equity. Providing of equal and fair opportunities for all to pursue a better life and seek their dreams. Ensuring that all are treated justly without undue advantage being taken against anyone.
  7. Knowledge, Creativity and Entrepreneurship.  It’s said that knowledge is power and rightly so. Among the three major national goals after independence was the desire to eradicate ignorance. Biblically, it is said that people perish for lack of knowledge. Right knowledge leads to innovation and entrepreneur success – what Kenya needs the most.
  8. Economic empowerment. As the Chinese say, its better to teach a man how to fish rather than constantly giving them fish. What Kenya needs is systems that empower the common man to make economic gain for self sustenance and development. Without which people constantly rely on handouts which keep them poor for decades.
  9. Shalom. Shalom is the state of wholeness. It is the existence of peace rooted in wellness and completeness not mere calm and tranquility. Communities in Kenya need to achieve a state of wellness – to live in Shalom.
  10. Respect and dignity. PA will endeavor to nurture a culture of mutual respect and dignified engagement with our partners, clients and employees.
  11. Open and Honest communication. PA will nurture transparency through open and honest communication with all that we engage with.
